So !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! is most excellent, the wheels have taken about 150 miles to annoy me. I'm not huge fan of chrome to begin with, but I can live with it. The problem comes from them being giant (20in). There is next to no clearance between the wheels and the fender, so whenever you go over a decent sized bump or, being NJ one of the million potholes, it rubs. This irritates the ever loving shit out of me. So, as soon as I get enough money, these ones are getting sold and new ones are being put on.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

Kinja'd!!!

The requirements:

18 or 19 inches (anything more would be far too big, anything smaller wouldn't quite fill the wheel wells enough)

Preferably black (played out blah blah I know. Don't care. It would look correct with the color scheme on my car, although my mind might be able to be changed)

5x114.3 is the bolt pattern, if I remember correctly

Nothing absurdly expensive

Check out Fiske, they make some good products. American racing torque thrusts in black would look nice, but that's probably just me.

I think the previous gen Mach 1 wheels would look great on it...

I agree with you completely. But I feel like damn near every mustang gets torq thrusts. So I'm iffy on those.

Mustang Track Pack wheels available in 19" $279 each.

Kinja'd!!!

Or find a guy selling his stock 17" 5-spoke wheels for cheap and have the spokes painted black!

Really like the track pack wheels. And the stock 17s are my top candidate for winter tires next year.

Very true, Torq Thrusts aren't exactly a rare choice, are they. I kinda like the newer GT500 rims, maybe something like this?

Personally I think the first gen GT500 wheels look fantastic on Mustang GTs. If I had one, I would put a set of them on it. They can probably be had for a reasonably price from guys getting new wheels for their Shelby.

I saw those and I love the snowflake-ish thing they have going on. It's between them and the Track Pack wheels someone else posted, as of now.

Ha well that didn't take long! I would suggest the tsw nurburgring or the 2010 gt500 rims. The sve drifts are also pretty cool too and those were the track rims I was going to get. I have the gt500 rims in black on my car now so if you want I'll post pictures later.

Yeah I didn't realize it would annoy me as much as it does. I'm selling my other two cars soon-ish so that'll probably fund the new ones.

The GT500s or the Track Packs someone else posted are probably the ones I'm going to get, at least as of now. Any recommendations for tire setup or tire brands? I was planning on keeping the staggered 255 in the front/275 (or 285) in the rear, and Yokohama ultra-high performance all-seasons or something along those lines.

I'm always partial to 8-hole steel wheels. I feel like they look good on any car and make the car look more "raw." Black steelies, like these Cragar Soft 8s on this older Mustang, would compliment the black stripes and make your car look more badass. Every guy puts Torq-thrusts on their Mustangs. This is definitely a more unconventional choice.

Kinja'd!!!

If you don't dig the steelie look like I do, then these BBS RS-GTs will look go on what is practically your car. Again this is a less common but still cool aftermarket wheel choice for your car.

Damnit, why didn't you post this sooner??!? I've been trying to sell these for AGES and I just accepted an offer below my asking price because I wanted to be done with them. Poop. Maybe if the buyer doesn't come through you can buy them from me. :P I only wanted $800 + shipping for a set of four with basically brand-new Continental DWS Extreme tires. The wheels are 18"x9" AMR wheels from American Muscle.

More pictures of the wheels I've been trying to get rid of.

There's a little bit of curb rash, but it would be easy to repair since they're aluminum.

I second wheels like Biapilotaceman suggests. And I think you are making the right decision with black, especially with the black accents on your car. I hate chrome on my car, I'm slowly replacing it all with black.

They're 18"x9" with 255/45/r18 Continental DWS Extreme tires. I was asking $800 plus shipping. Someone made an offer on them, but I don't expect them to come through with payment. You can email me at patrick122293@msn.com if you want to know more. Let me know if you're interested.

I mean if you can I would go with summer tires, but if you might ever drive it in the cold then ignore me. I have Nitto NT555's on mine (255 and 275) and I have liked them, but I know they aren't the grippiest. If you haven't yet go join up at mustangforums.com and search around there. In the handling section there are a ton of threads about tires. Also the place is just an amazing source of information about Mustang's, and I'm pretty sure has more people on it than any other site. Also, if you eventually want to get serious with track days, don't go staggered. If you aren't though, then don't worry about it.

Got it, thanks. It's gonna be driven in the cold and rain, so I figure a little bit of traction would be nice haha.

And nah, no serious plans to track it at any time in the near future. Maybe this summer I'll take it to an Auto-X or a drag strip or something.
